About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Create and maintain a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that promotes safety and exploration 2. Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with preschool curriculum standards and promote early learning 3. Use storytelling, arts and crafts, songs, games, and other hands-on activities to teach basic skills like letters, numbers, colors, and shapes 4. Observe, assess, and document each child's development and progress; provide feedback to parents during regular conferences and informal communication 5. Encourage positive behavior and support children's emotional well-being through patience, empathy, and consistent reinforcement 6. Foster strong communication and trust with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of classroom activities, milestones, and any concerns 7. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, following all health and safety protocols 8. Collaborate with assistant teachers, school staff, and administrators to ensure cohesive delivery of the educational program 9. Participate in professional development and training sessions to stay current with best practices in early childhood education Requirements: 1. Demonstrate excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues, including strong verbal and written communication for delivering lessons and engaging families 2. Exhibit patience and empathy when guiding young children through learning and behavioral development 3. Apply sound understanding of preschool education principles, child development, and classroom management tailored to early learners 4. Design creative and flexible educational activities that capture children's interest and adapt to their individual needs 5. Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers and school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Qualifications: 1. Hold a bachelor's degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) 2. Possess 1-3 years of experience teaching or assisting in a preschool or early childhood setting 3. Be certified in First Aid and CPR (preferred) 4.
