Role Overview The Recruitment Manager will be the strategic lead responsible for driving UCD’s student recruitment and admissions efforts across South Asia. This senior role combines high-level partnership development, team leadership, market analysis, and operational management to meet UCD’s international enrolment targets. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of recruitment campaigns, admissions processes, stakeholder relations, and marketing initiatives, while managing a high-performing recruitment team. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Team Management Develop and implement a comprehensive, market-specific recruitment strategy aligned with UCD’s global objectives. Lead, mentor, and evaluate the recruitment and admissions teams, driving performance, professional growth, and operational excellence. Support the strategic allocation of recruitment resources to enhance efficiency and optimize ROI. Recruitment & Admissions Manage and support recruitment activities including school outreach, university engagement, agent communications, and education fairs. Coordinate high school visits, fairs, and presentations, maintaining strong relationships with school counsellors and administrators. Administer the admission process, ensuring compliance with university policies, monitoring application progress, acceptance, and deposit rates, and developing yield strategies. Maintain up-to-date databases of schools, universities, agents, alumni, and prospective students. Partnership & Stakeholder Management Establish and nurture relationships with universities, agents, government bodies, industry stakeholders, and funding organizations. Act as a primary point of contact for partner queries and represent UCD at fairs, government meetings, and education forums. Organize agent training, familiarization (FAM) visits, and coordinate UCD recruitment missions, including logistics and itineraries. Marketing & Communication Drive promotional campaigns including digital marketing, social media outreach, and alumni engagement to build UCD’s brand presence. Distribute marketing materials, coordinate event logistics, and provide timely communications to students, agents, and partners. Support visa-related activities and liaise with embassy or industry stakeholders as needed. Data & Reporting Capture and analyse recruitment data, producing detailed reports on activities, pipeline health, and recruitment ROI for senior leadership. Track and monitor alumni engagement, supporting events and leveraging networks to enhance student-alumni connections. Desired Profile of the Candidate Minimum of 6 years' experience working for a foreign university in student recruitment or admissions. Demonstrated success in international student recruitment , admissions strategy, or education marketing. Experience working within or alongside educational agents or consultancy offices is highly preferred. Familiarity with the South Asian education market and international student mobility trends. Prior knowledge or willingness to develop deep familiarity with Ireland’s higher education system , UCD programmes, and visa procedures. Proven ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships across multiple sectors. Self-motivated and highly organized , with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional team. High attention to detail, excellent planning and time management skills. Strong communication skills (written and oral), and a high level of customer service orientation. Comfortable working flexible hours and extensive travel within South Asia. Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and digital tools used in student recruitment and event coordination. Qualifications: Educated to Master’s Degree level or demonstrate appropriate combination of Bachelor’s Degree and relevant experience. Show more Show less
