Production Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities: 1. Production Planning & Execution Supervise day-to-day HVAC product manufacturing activities as per production schedules. Allocate manpower, machines, and materials efficiently to meet targets. Ensure timely completion of production orders while maintaining quality standards. 2. Team Supervision & Coordination Lead, train, and monitor production line workers, technicians, and operators. Assign tasks and provide technical support to team members. Enforce discipline, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures. 3. Quality Assurance Ensure products meet defined quality and performance standards. Conduct in-process inspections and coordinate with quality control teams for testing. Identify and eliminate causes of product defects and rework. 4. Equipment & Process Management Oversee operation and maintenance of machinery and tools used in HVAC production. Ensure machines are calibrated and serviced as per maintenance schedules. Implement process improvements for higher efficiency and reduced downtime. 5. Inventory & Material Handling Coordinate with the stores and procurement team for raw materials, components, and consumables. Monitor usage of materials to minimize waste and track inventory levels. Maintain proper documentation of material issuance and consumption. 6. Safety & Compliance Enforce workplace safety norms and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure all team members use PPE. Report and investigate any workplace incidents or near-misses. 7. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate production reports, shift logs, and daily progress summaries. Report key production metrics such as output, efficiency, downtime, and scrap rate to management. Participate in daily production meetings and provide updates on challenges and needs. 8. Coordination with Other Departments Work closely with planning, quality, maintenance, and logistics departments. Ensure smooth flow of information and coordination for production continuity. Support product development and trial runs of new HVAC models or components. Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of HVAC system components and assembly processes Production floor management experience Leadership and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus Understanding of safety and compliance standards
