Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: 1. Supervision of Service Technicians Oversee daily activities of HVAC technicians, assign service calls, and monitor job progress. Ensure technicians follow safety standards, company policies, and manufacturer procedures. Conduct regular field visits to inspect work quality and provide on-site guidance. 2. Work Scheduling & Coordination Plan and schedule preventative maintenance and service activities. Coordinate with clients for site access and service timing. Handle emergency service requests and ensure timely response. 3. Customer Service & Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for client escalations and complaints. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt issue resolution and clear communication. Prepare and present service reports and recommendations to clients. 4. Quality Control & Compliance Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations. Ensure proper documentation of work orders, maintenance logs, and inspection checklists. Monitor equipment usage, calibration, and availability of tools and safety gear. 5. Technical Support & Troubleshooting Assist technicians with complex diagnostics and repairs. Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, codes, and techniques. Provide hands-on technical support when required. 6. Training & Development Identify skill gaps and coordinate technical training for service staff. Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Mentor junior technicians and support their growth within the team. 7. Inventory & Resource Management Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables. Coordinate with the procurement team for stock replenishment. Maintain records of material usage per job for billing and tracking. 8. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate service logs, time sheets, and performance records. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management review. Track job completion status, downtime, and technician productivity. Key Skills Required: Strong HVAC technical knowledge (residential and/or commercial systems) Leadership and team management Time management and problem-solving skills Customer handling and communication Familiarity with safety standards and HVAC regulations
