We are looking for a Production Planning & Inventory Control Manager to lead and optimize
supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between manufacturing units, vendor
management, inventory control, and demand forecasting. This role demands a strategic mindset,
strong analytical abilities, and the capability to drive process improvements while working cross-
functionally with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
• Develop and implement robust production planning strategies to align with business demand
and operational goals.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure optimal production scheduling and capacity
utilization.
• Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively address challenges in production timelines and
material availability.
• Oversee planning for seasonal spikes, promotional events, and new product launches, ensuring
timely execution.
• Serve as the primary liaison between vendors and internal teams, ensuring smooth coordination
for procurement, production schedules, and dispatch planning.
• Manage and resolve vendor-related issues such as lead times, delays, quality concerns, and
supply fluctuations.
• Drive cost optimization and efficiency improvements in procurement planning.
• Oversee inventory levels across multiple warehouses and production units to ensure balance
between demand and supply.
• Develop and implement inventory policies to reduce stockouts, excess inventory, and
obsolescence.
• Lead demand planning efforts using historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to
optimize production schedules.
• Monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) updates, ensuring seamless communication
across teams.
• Utilize data-driven insights and advanced analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy and
production efficiency.
• Design and implement best-in-class inventory control processes, minimizing waste and
improving turnaround times.
• Develop key KPIs and dashboards to track supply chain performance, efficiency, and cost -
effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and R&D to ensure alignment on
business goals and production requirements.
• Provide senior leadership with insights, recommendations, and reports on inventory health,
supply risks, and production efficiencies.
• Lead strategic discussions to improve supply chain agility, cost efficiency, and operational
resilience.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) by ensuring alignment with production and supply
chain teams
• 4-5 years of experience in Production Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain
Operations.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, procurement processes, and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and data analytics tools.
• Proven ability to analyze complex supply chain challenges and drive process improvements.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and
collaborate across teams.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries preferred.
