Role Description:

As a Product Manager - Platform & Integrations Marketplace, you will play a critical role driving the strategy and execution of our two-sided integrations marketplace. This marketplace serves both external developer partners, who build integrations, and dealership decision-makers, who discover and adopt them to extend the value of their myKaarma experience.

You will be responsible for delivering a unified API platform and best-in-class developer experience that empowers partners to build, test, and publish integrations efficiently. This includes building self-service developer tools, robust documentation, partner portals, and integration onboarding workflows. Your work will make it simple for third-party developers to bring new capabilities to the myKaarma ecosystem.

Equally important, you’ll focus on the dealership-facing side of the marketplace, ensuring that integration listings are discoverable, trustworthy, and easy to understand. You’ll shape how dealerships browse, evaluate, and enable partner solutions, collaborating with design, product marketing, and customer-facing teams to drive adoption and engagement.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, customer experience, business systems, marketing, and external partners to deliver on our goals of extensibility, automation, discoverability, and scale. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the company, offering the opportunity to deepen your expertise in platform products, API ecosystems, and automotive SaaS.

A: “I’d begin with a discovery sprint across engineering, biz systems, and current integration partners to define friction points and automation opportunities. From there, I’d structure a phased roadmap—starting with high-impact automations like token provisioning and usage monitoring, while laying the groundwork for self-serve certification. I’d also align our API governance structure early to prevent tech debt and ensure reuse across future integrations.”

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for both sides of the integrations marketplace - developer partner enablement and dealer-facing discovery and adoption
  • Serve as a cross-functional leader, aligning engineering, operations, support, and go-to-market teams on rollout strategies and adoption goals
  • Champion clear, consistent communication across stakeholders, enabling alignment on priorities and driving engagement from both developer and dealer audiences
  • Define and track key success metrics, including developer NPS, time-to-first-call, certification cycle time, dealer integration activation rates, and platform reliability
  • Define and launch API documentation standards, client libraries, and implementation guidelines to enable faster, more consistent third-party integration
  • Design and implement a developer certification experience, including API review templates, configuration guides, and automated approval workflows
  • Automate onboarding workflows across Salesforce, ChargeOver, and internal systems to reduce manual overhead and speed up partner go-live
  • Launch monitoring and observability features such as usage-based dashboards, rate limiting, alerting, and token lifecycle visibility
  • Deliver dealer-initiated integration workflows, including pricing tier support, dependency management, and configurable notifications
  • Define scalable integration architectures, enforce API governance, and drive reusable design patterns via RFCs and developer collaboration


Required Skills and Qualifications
:

  • 3+ years of product management experience in SaaS, platform, or developer-facing roles, ideally with exposure to marketplace or ecosystem products
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving cross-functional initiatives across systems teams (e.g., Salesforce, billing, internal tools)
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work directly with dealerships and partner solutions in the US and other stakeholders from across the globe
  • Familiarity with modern API lifecycle tools, governance practices, and observability stacks
  • Experience defining and driving adoption metrics, including platform OKRs, integration success rates, and marketplace engagement
  • Proven ability to deliver APIs, SDKs, or developer portals, with a focus on ease of integration and scale
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols
  • Experience designing and operating integration frameworks with rate limiting, error handling, and high reliability

Nice to Have Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with RFC processes, API governance, and product-led platform enablement
  • Background working in ecosystems with both B2B and B2D (developer) audiences
  • Exposure to Salesforce workflows, CPQ, and Chargeover (or similar billing platforms)
  • Experience building partner marketplaces or managing public/private app listings

The starting salary range for this role is ₹40 Lakhs depending on experience and qualifications, reflecting our dedication to competitive industry compensation. Additional details about our Total Rewards package will be shared during recruitment.
