Product Manager - Lending

This is a highly impactful leadership role requiring deep banking domain expertise, strong product vision, and the ability to execute quickly in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and own the unified product strategy for the end-to-end lifecycle of lending and deposit products
• Drive a scalable core architecture supporting multiple financial products (commercial, consumer, CRE, construction, SBA, syndicated credit, ABL/BBC, etc.)
• Lead expansion into

  deposit account opening

  (retail + business), onboarding/KYC, payments and transaction servicing

Execution & Delivery

• Lead multiple product teams (LOS, Servicing, Deposits, Collateral, Post-Origination Monitoring)
• Deliver high-quality releases ensuring borrower → servicing data flow is consistent, automated, and auditable
• Partner with Engineering to push velocity, reliability, and API-first integration with core banking systems

AI-Driven Capabilities

• Champion AI workflows across origination and servicing including:
• Automated underwriting
• Document ingestion + extraction + validation
• Borrowing base eligibility automation
• Construction budget + draw automation
• Covenant and credit performance monitoring
• Intelligent borrower communications via Chat Assist

Customer & Market Leadership

• Engage with banks, credit unions, and fintech partners to validate requirements, prioritize roadmap based on business impact and regulatory needs
• Own competitive positioning against market leaders (nCino, Jack Henry, Finastra, Abrigo, etc.)

Financial / Compliance Insights

• Ensure product compliance with banking regulations (FDIC, OCC, NCUA, CFPB, SBA)
• Build robust credit risk features including:
• Risk rating models
• Migration & trending analytics
• Portfolio stress testing
• Concentration & exposure controls

Team Leadership

• Build, mentor, and scale a world-class product organization
• Drive a culture of

  AI-first

  , customer delight, and rapid iteration

Qualifications

Required:

• 10+ years in Product Management with

  strong background in lending systems

  (LOS + Servicing)
• Experience launching commercial loan types (CRE, C&I, SBA, Construction, ABL)
• Strong understanding of deposits, onboarding/KYC, payments, GL integration, and servicing workflows
• Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements in banking
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence

Preferred:

• Understanding of

  core banking platforms

  (FIS, Jack Henry, Fiserv, Temenos)
• Experience with

  AI/ML-driven

  credit decisioning or automation
• Startup/SaaS high-growth environment experience
• Familiarity with agent-based architectures, real-time data exchange, and workflow engines
