About the Role:

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Product Manager to take complete ownership of our in-house, field collector app. This is a critical role at the intersection of collection strategy, AI, and product management.

You will be responsible for building and scaling the platform that powers our entire field collection strategy. The ideal candidate is someone who gets a "super kick" from building products from scratch, while understanding the repayment business and has in-depth understanding of repayment concepts of allocation, payout, agency management, settlement, waivers, offers etc to name a few.

You will report to the Head of Products and work in a high-visibility role, engaging directly with engineering, design, repayment business, and leadership.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

• Own the Field App Roadmap

  : Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle for the Collector App, transitioning it from a legacy web interface to a robust Hybrid Mobile Application.

• Build for the Field

  : Design and ship critical field-centric features like Offline-First Mode, Regular data sync, Background Geo-fencing, Low-Battery Optimization etc

• Get in the Field

  : Conduct mandatory user research by shadowing field agents (1 day/month in Pune, 1 day/quarter outstation) to understand the reality of ground-level operations.

• Drive Agency Adoption

  : Solve the "Carrot & Stick" problem. Build features that make agents want to use the platform (e.g., Projected Earnings, Route Planning, AI Assist) rather than just forcing them.

• Collaborate across "Pillars"

  : Work with the strategy team, business team, engineering team to make sure your feature selection and prioritisation directly and immediately impacts business numbers as well as the platform performance metrics

What Success Looks Like (Your 12-Month Impact):

• Month 0-3 (Build & Stabilize): You have launched the MVP Hybrid App ("The Shell") with 100% reliable Geo-tagging and Offline sync. Pilot agencies have stopped using Excel for daily updates. There is no manual effort for any business activity and there is full automation for all business processes. All the dispositions flow back automatically and in real time.
• Month 3-6 (Optimize): You have shipped "Efficiency" features like Smart Route Planning and Voice-to-Text dispositioning, AI assist on case timeline etc.
• Month 6-9 and onwards (Scale): The platform fully supports multi-tenancy. You have successfully started onboarding third-party collections onto the app with necessary certifications on compliant data handling practices.

What You’ll Bring (Must-Have Qualifications):

• 5-7 Years of Product Management Experience: Must have a strong background in the repayment side of Fintech, Lending, or Field Force Automation.
• Mobile-First Expertise: You have shipped complex B2B/Enterprise Android apps. You understand the technical trade-offs of PWA vs. Native vs. Hybrid wrappers (Capacitor/React Native).
• Technical Fluency: You can discuss API latency, battery optimization, and background services with engineering leads without getting lost. You can understand code as much as you can understand repayment business concepts
• Empathy for the end User: You understand that your user is likely on a budget smartphone in an intermittent-network zone, not an iPhone on 5G. You design for their reality.
• Data Independence: You don't wait for analysts. You can pull your own data (SQL/Metabase) to track adoption and feature usage.

Bonus Points (Added advantage in the role):

• Experience with the Frappe Framework or ERPNext.
• Comfort with python. (the role doesn't require coding as such but it's an invaluable advantage to be comfortable with python)
• Is a tinkerer with AI and has built platforms, apps, websites or automated workflows for personal or side projects. This one is a massive plus.
• Prior experience building specifically for the Collections or Logistics/Delivery domain.
• Experience launching products for a multi-tenant / SaaS environment.
