As part of our aggressive growth and cost-optimization strategy, we are looking for a proactive Procurement Specialist to strengthen our global sourcing and vendor development capabilities. 🔍 Role: Procurement Specialist As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding reliable suppliers— both domestic and international —to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement of raw materials, components, and capital equipment. 💼 Key Responsibilities Source, negotiate, and finalize procurement of raw materials, machinery, packaging, and components Proactively identify and onboard global suppliers , especially from markets like China, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East Evaluate vendors based on pricing, delivery timelines, technical compatibility, and quality standards Collaborate with Production, R&D, Finance, and Logistics for seamless procurement planning Monitor supplier performance, lead time compliance, and ensure cost reductions without quality compromise Stay updated on global price trends , trade regulations, and shipping norms Maintain accurate purchase records and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory norms Utilize ERP systems (SAP B1 preferred) for PO creation, GRNs, and vendor management 🎓 Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations (MBA preferred) 3–6 years of experience in procurement, with exposure to international sourcing Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor evaluation skills Knowledge of commercial terms, import documentation, customs clearance, LC, etc. Familiarity with SAP or any standard ERP procurement module 🌟 What We Offer Opportunity to work with a fast-growing, system-driven organization Exposure to global vendor management and strategic sourcing Defined career path and performance-linked growth Collaborative and structured work culture 📩 Apply Now : Send your CV to hr@sagarpolymers.com or apply directly on LinkedIn.
