Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing

• Identify and onboard reliable suppliers for key ingredients (meat, vegetables, grains) and packaging materials.
• Evaluate suppliers on price, quality, delivery reliability, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain an approved vendor list and multiple supplier options per category.
• Implement long-term sourcing strategies to reduce risk and dependency.

Procurement Planning & Cost Optimization

• Forecast procurement needs based on production schedules, demand planning, and sales projections.
• Maintain price stability through rate contracts or bulk deals.
• Negotiate commercial terms to optimize cost per kg/unit while maintaining quality standards.
• Regularly benchmark supplier pricing and logistics costs.
• Track and report savings vs. budget achieved through negotiation and efficiency.

Quality & Compliance Coordination

• Collaborate with the production and QA teams to ensure all incoming raw materials meet Benny’s Bowl’s quality parameters and FSSAI requirements.
• Conduct periodic supplier audits for hygiene, documentation, and delivery consistency.
• Handle non-conformance — rejection, replacement, or corrective actions with suppliers.

Process, Systems & Inventory Sync

• Ensure timely purchase order creation, GRN posting, and invoice processing in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Inventory and Production Managers to align stock levels and reorder triggers.
• Maintain documentation — contracts, purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices — for audit readiness.
• Optimize lead times and set reorder points for critical materials.
• Drive zero production downtime due to raw material shortages.

Vendor Relationship & Reporting

• Build strong long-term partnerships with vendors for reliability and innovation.
• Create monthly vendor performance dashboards (pricing, quality, timeliness).
• Monitor key procurement KPIs — lead time, purchase accuracy, supplier defect rate.

Present monthly reports on procurement spend and efficiency to management.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
