Job Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (Civil Engineering) to lead and manage large-scale construction projects, including high-rise residential and MyBunshuttering structures. The ideal candidate must have strong site execution experience, the ability to handle large project volumes, and hands-on technical capability. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and supervising day-to-day site work, ensuring timely progress, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The candidate must be proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD , and should be able to coordinate efficiently with consultants, contractors, and vendors. Practical experience in managing shuttering, RCC, masonry, finishing, and services integration is essential. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills. The candidate must oversee costing, scheduling, material management, labour productivity, and ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and IS codes. The Project Manager will drive the project from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and smooth handover. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Scheduling Prepare the overall project plan, schedule, and execution roadmap. Develop micro-schedules for shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, finishing, and services. Identify critical paths, dependencies, and resource requirements. Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met. 2. Site Execution & Supervision Oversee daily site activities to ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and standards. Coordinate shuttering (including MyBunshuttering), RCC works, brickwork, finishing, waterproofing, and services integration. Ensure strict quality control at every stage. 3. Coordination with Stakeholders Lead communication between consultants, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Conduct daily site meetings and weekly progress reviews. Resolve technical issues through coordinated decision-making. 4. Costing, Budgeting & Resource Management Monitor project cost, material consumption, labour productivity, and wastage. Prepare and update BOQs, rate analyses, and cost projections. Optimize resources to maintain budget discipline without compromising quality. 5. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure all work complies with IS codes, approved drawings, and project specifications. Conduct quality inspections, cube tests, shuttering checks, reinforcement checks, etc. Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate defects. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily site reports, DPRs, measurement sheets, RFI logs, and material tracking sheets. Prepare MIS reports, progress summaries, and delay analysis. Use MS Excel and AutoCAD for documentation, planning, and drawing review. 7. Safety & Risk Management Ensure adherence to safety protocols and statutory regulations. Identify potential site risks and implement mitigation strategies. Conduct toolbox talks and enforce compliance among workers. 8. Vendor, Contractor & Labour Management Supervise subcontractor performance and labour deployment. Approve work fronts, certify completed work, and manage contractor billing. Ensure smooth coordination among all executing teams. 9. Problem Solving & Decision Making Quickly resolve site challenges, technical issues, and material shortages. Take timely decisions to keep the project on track. Ensure no work front stops due to coordination delays. 10. Project Handover Oversee snag rectification, final finishing, testing & commissioning. Ensure complete documentation for handover. Deliver the project with expected quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
