(NCCCL) is a prominent Engineering, Procurement and Contracting (EPC) firm headquartered Mumbai, India and with regional offices in Gujrat, Bangalore and Hyderabad. With over 78 years of experience, NCCCL has successfully completed 500+ projects totaling over 300 million sq.ft. NCCCL specializes in delivering greenfield and brownfield superstructures across various asset classes, including residential, commercial, IT parks, malls, pharmaceutical plants, and more. The company has a strong clientele that includes prestigious Indian brands like Prestige Group, L&T Realty, and Asian Paints, and is committed to quality, safety, and timely project delivery.


The company recently on-boarded Nisus Finance, India's first listed, real-estate focused Alternative-Investment Fund (AIF) to support its ambitious growth plans across the country.


Role Overview

Techno-Commercial Leader


This opportunity presents a unique opportunity to carry forward the company's legacy and repute in the Southern Zone and build out a profitable business unit underpinned by strong leadership and core team.


Key Responsibilities

🔹 Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Lead business development efforts across Karnataka & Tamil Nadu with top developers, corporates, and institutions.
  • Build and nurture

    CXO-level relationships

    with clients, consultants, and PMCs.
  • Identify and pursue large-ticket projects aligned with NCCCL’s strategy (₹200–500 Cr+ per project).
  • Drive tendering, negotiation, and contract finalization processes with clients.
  • Represent NCCCL at industry forums, associations, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.


🔹 Project Execution & Delivery

  • Oversee execution of all ongoing projects in the region, ensuring

    quality, safety, timelines, and profitability

    .
  • Provide techno-commercial leadership to project teams, ensuring efficient resource mobilization and utilization.
  • Resolve escalated site issues and act as the key escalation point for clients in the region.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual terms, specifications, and NCCCL’s governance processes.
  • Drive

    cash flow discipline

    and support client billing, collections, and claim resolution.


🔹 Commercial & Strategic Leadership

  • Lead project costing, budgeting, and margin optimization initiatives for the region.
  • Drive efficiency in subcontractor/vendor management, negotiations, and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and contractual obligations.
  • Provide market intelligence on competitor pricing, client expectations, and regional dynamics.
  • Work closely with corporate leadership on

    regional growth strategy

    and expansion opportunities.


🔹 People & Organizational Leadership

  • Lead and mentor regional project managers, contracts, and BD teams.
  • Build a

    high-performance culture

    rooted in accountability, ownership, and delivery excellence.
  • Attract, retain, and develop strong technical and commercial talent in the region.
  • Act as the face of NCCCL’s values of

    integrity, professionalism, and long-term partnerships

    in the Southern market.


Qualifications & Experience

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering; MBA/PG in Business Management preferred.
  • 20+ years’ experience in

    buildings construction (residential, commercial, IT parks, industrial, institutional)

    .
  • At least

    5 years in a leadership role

    overseeing both

    project execution and business development

    in South India.
  • Proven track record of

    winning and delivering large-scale projects

    (₹200 Cr+ each).
  • Deep relationships with

    leading developers, corporates, consultants, and PMCs

    in the Southern region.
  • Strong grasp of

    contracts management, P&L ownership, and claims resolution

    .
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
