As a Proposal Manager for the highway business, your primary responsibility is to develop comprehensive proposals for RFPs and RFQs that align with client requirements and company capabilities. You will collaborate with internal teams to gather technical specifications, compliance matrices, and pricing details. In your role, you will serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries related to the highway vertical, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Understanding client needs and tailoring solutions to meet specific project requirements will be essential. Your expertise in designing and proposing advanced traffic management systems (ATMS) and related highway solutions will be crucial. You will assist clients in developing a comprehensive solution architecture that meets their operational and technical requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and managing all necessary documentation, including compliance matrices, technical credentials, and previous experience certificates. Ensuring that all proposals meet the required standards and regulatory compliance will be a key part of your role. Collaboration with sales and technical teams is vital. You will work closely with sales teams to understand client needs and effectively position the company's offerings. Liaising with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with company capabilities is also important. Conducting market research to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the highway and traffic management sectors will be part of your responsibilities. Analyzing competitor offerings to ensure that the company's proposals are competitive and advantageous is essential. Preparing and delivering client presentations, showcasing the company's solutions and capabilities in the highway sector, will be required. Conducting product demonstrations as needed to highlight key features and benefits is also part of the role. You will assist the sales team in business development activities, including identifying potential leads and converting them into opportunities. Providing technical support during client meetings and negotiations is crucial for successful collaboration. Reviewing and interpreting tender documents to ensure a thorough understanding of client requirements will be necessary. You will prepare and submit all necessary tender documentation, including the bill of quantities (BOQ), pricing, and compliance matrices. Post-sales support is another aspect of your role. You will provide support by addressing any technical queries from clients and ensuring smooth project execution. Additionally, you will assist in the handover of projects to the operations and maintenance teams. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or a related role within the highway and traffic management sector is required. Strong understanding of Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are essential. Strong communication and presentation skills are also necessary. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience with traffic management software and highway infrastructure solutions, familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the highway sector, proficiency in preparing technical documentation and compliance matrices, project management experience with a focus on solution delivery, and knowledge of competitor offerings and industry trends.,
