The ideal candidate should have a strong background in embedded systems, IoT products, and biometric/RFID technologies. This role demands cross-functional coordination between R&D, QA, product management, and field support teams to ensure smooth product lifecycle and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: · Evaluate and test dash cameras for hardware, firmware, video quality, GPS, G-sensor, and 4G connectivity. · Conduct field testing and ensure compliance with regulatory standards like AIS140 (for dash cams). · Test and validate smart door locks for fingerprint, RFID, PIN, mobile app control, and wireless protocols (BLE/Wi-Fi). · Evaluate Time & Attendance systems with biometric/face/RFID tech and ensure software–hardware–cloud sync. · Support firmware upgrades, bug tracking, vendor communications, and documentation across all product lines. · Collaborate with R&D and product teams for feature definition, tuning, and release planning. · Review and implement SDK/API integrations for T&A systems with HRMS or third-party platforms. · Train support staff and partners on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures. · Handle technical escalations from field and sales teams with detailed root cause analysis and resolution. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field. · 3–5 years of experience with embedded/IoT products across at least two domains (dash cams, smart locks, T&A). · Hands-on experience with hardware validation, product QA, and SDK/API integrations. · Strong understanding of BLE, Wi-Fi, 4G, GPS modules, and cloud connectivity. · Familiarity with biometric authentication, RFID protocols, and mobile app/device pairing. · Ability to read logs, debug firmware issues, and coordinate with suppliers on fixes and updates. Preferred Skills: · Experience in the CCTV, access control, or biometric industries. · Knowledge of CAN bus, automotive electronics, and surveillance compliance standards. · Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation/testing. · Exposure to cloud platforms used in IoT ecosystems (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, etc.).
