Job Title: Pre-Sales Consultant – SOC (Security Operations Center)   Location: Department: Sales / Cybersecurity Reporting to: Head – Sales / Business Development / CTO Job Type: Full-time   About the Role: The Pre-Sales SOC Consultant will work closely with the sales and technical teams to understand customer security requirements and position our SOC services (Managed SOC, SIEM, Threat Intelligence, Dark Web Monitoring, Incident Response, etc.). The role involves solution designing, preparing technical proposals, delivering product demos, and supporting RFP/RFQ compliance.   Key Responsibilities: Technical / Pre-Sales Activities: ·       Understand client cybersecurity needs and translate them into SOC solution offerings. ·       Conduct product demos, presentations, and technical workshops for customers and partners. ·       Prepare and deliver proposal responses, SOW (Scope of Work), BOQ, and cost estimations for SOC services. ·       Assist in RFP/RFI/RFQ response preparation including solution architecture and value proposition. ·       Work closely with SOC delivery/operations team to ensure solution feasibility. ·       Prepare PoC (Proof of Concept) plans and assist customers during PoC execution. ·       Support the sales team with competitive positioning and differentiators of SOC offerings. ·       Maintain updated knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, RBI/SEBI directives, CERT-In, etc.) and SIEM/log monitoring tools.   Customer Engagement: ·       Engage with CXO-level stakeholders to understand business & security challenges. ·       Prepare use cases aligned with customer environment (Endpoint, Firewall, Cloud, Application logs, etc.). ·       Conduct requirement gathering, GAP analysis, and create technical proposal documents. ·       Build customer confidence through strong SOC domain expertise.   Internal Collaboration: ·       Work with product & operations team for solution improvements and new feature enhancements. ·       Hand over PoC/project documentation to delivery team after deal closure.   Required Skills & Qualifications: ·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Cybersecurity (or equivalent). ·       2+ years of experience in Pre-Sales / Cybersecurity / SOC / SIEM domain. ·       Knowledge of SOC processes (Monitoring, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence), SIEM tools (FortiSIEM, Splunk, QRadar, Azure Sentinel, Elastic, ManageEngine), and security technologies (EDR/XDR, Firewall, IPS/IDS, DLP, Cloud Security). ·       Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills. ·       Ability to understand customer environment and map relevant SOC services.
