Functional Description (FD) – Network Security Engineer (Level II) Function Title: Network Security Engineer – Level II Function Category: Network & Security Operations Experience Level: Intermediate Function Purpose: To ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of enterprise networks by managing and securing firewall and intrusion prevention infrastructure. This includes deployment, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of network security appliances such as Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Cisco ASA, and IPS/IDS platforms.
