Job Overview:
The Practice Head for IMS -QEHS Services is responsible for overseeing the strategy, management, and growth of IMS projects (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001/ISO 50001). The role involves ensuring efficient project execution, maximizing client satisfaction, maintaining compliance excellence, and driving sustainable business growth and profitability.
Detailed Responsibility, Authority, and Accountability:
Responsibility:
- Lead and manage IMS consulting practice, ensuring quality and consistency in all projects.
- Develop strategic plans for IMS service growth and market penetration.
- Oversee and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all IMS documentation and project deliverables.
- Provide expert guidance and oversight on internal audits, gap analyses, and certification readiness.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for internal consultants and client teams.
- Foster clear and effective communication with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee financial management, project budgeting, cost control, invoicing, and collections.
Authority:
- Direct IMS project allocation, resource planning, and consultant assignments.
- Approve key project decisions including timelines, resource allocations, and strategic directions.
- Resolve high-level operational and compliance issues directly with senior client representatives.
- Approve training content, methodologies, documentation standards, and practices developed by consultants.
- Initiate and implement strategic improvements in IMS project management practices and processes.
Accountability:
- Overall accountability for timely, profitable, and high-quality delivery of IMS consulting projects.
- Accountable for ensuring project documentation meets standards, minimizing errors and reworks.
- Responsible for maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, fostering repeat and referral business.
- Accountable for achieving practice financial goals, timely collections, and profitability metrics.
- Regularly report practice performance, risks, and strategic updates to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership for IMS consulting services, driving business growth.
- Mentor, coach, and develop IMS consultants to enhance service quality and performance.
Project Management Oversight:
- Monitor overall project delivery timelines, budgets, and quality.
- Establish clear project execution standards and methodologies.
- Ensure effective stakeholder management and resolution of conflicts.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
- Act as the primary escalation point for client concerns, ensuring resolution.
Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for expanding IMS consulting services.
- Participate in client acquisition activities including proposal preparation and presentations.
Financial Oversight:
- Oversee invoicing, receivables management, and budget adherence.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
Performance Metrics:
- Overall practice revenue and profitability growth.
- Client satisfaction and retention rates.
- Project delivery timeliness and quality metrics.
- Employee engagement and retention within the practice.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate in Engineering / Diploma in Engineering / B.Sc.
- 12-15 years of experience in Manufacturing (Steel/Engineering/Construction/Pharma/Food)/Service industries, with senior-level experience in QA/QC, Production, or Operations.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience leading IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001/ISO 50001) implementation as team leader or senior consultant.
- Extensive experience conducting certification and surveillance audits with recognized certification bodies (SGS, BVCI, BSI, DNVGL, TUV).

Compensation:
