Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of payroll experience.
- Experience with managing payroll operations in multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of payroll principles and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and international payroll, tax, and labor laws.
- Proficient in payroll software and systems; experience with global payroll solutions preferred.
- Prepare accounting files, records, and schedules
- Manage Expense Reimbursement process
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with expatriate payroll and foreign currency exchange.
- Proven track record of successfully managing vendor relationships.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Familiarity with internal and external audit processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to stay updated on changes in global payroll regulations and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- The role requires individual contributor (IC) to oversee & process global payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll, tax, and labor regulations.
- Coordinate with On-boarding, HR and Finance to gather necessary payroll data.
- Update general ledger and payroll files
- Prepare accounting files, records, and schedules
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through collection and analysis.
- Maintain and update payroll policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and metrics to upper management.
- Manage relationships with external payroll vendors and service providers.
- Implement and maintain global payroll operations systems.
- Assist in internal and external payroll audits.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with employees regarding payroll questions and concerns.
- Stay updated on global payroll regulations and best practices.
- Ensure payroll transactions are accurately reflected in financial accounts.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with payroll data.
- Handle expatriate payroll and foreign currency exchanges.
- Monitor and verify vacation, sick, and personal leave requests and balances.
- Manage garnishments, child support orders, and other wage deductions.
- Facilitate continuous improvement of payroll processes.
