Job Description

Primary Title: Business Development Manager – IT Staffing

About The Opportunity

We provide IT staffing and workforce augmentation to enterprise and mid-market clients across India. This on-site role focuses on new business growth, strategic client partnerships, and scaling delivery for engineering, cloud, and product talent.Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle for IT staffing: prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, and close new accounts (enterprise & mid-market).
  • Build and manage a predictable pipeline using outbound prospecting (calls, email sequences, LinkedIn) and inbound lead conversion to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Lead client engagements: discovery, solution design, proposal development, contract negotiation, and sign-off.
  • Coordinate with delivery and recruitment teams to align SOWs, SLAs, candidate pipelines, and onboarding to protect margins and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain CRM, produce forecasts and sales reports, track KPIs, and continuously refine BD playbooks and go-to-market tactics.
  • Represent the company at client meetings and industry events; surface market insights and opportunities for new services (RPO, managed services, contract-to-hire).

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven B2B business development experience in IT staffing, technical recruitment-sales, or talent acquisition services with a track record of closing deals.
  • Strong prospecting and conversion skills: cold outreach, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and lead qualification.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot/Zoho) and data-driven pipeline management.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills; comfortable with commercial/rate negotiations.
  • Willingness to work on-site in India and travel to client locations as required.

Preferred

  • Experience selling specialized technical talent (software engineering, cloud, data, DevOps) or staffing solutions (RPO, managed services).
  • Existing relationships with hiring managers, technical leaders, or procurement in target verticals.
  • Familiarity with recruitment operations, SLAs for candidate delivery, and margin optimization.
