Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle EPM Functional Analyst / Developer to join our project team. This role is critical in supporting our financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, and reporting initiatives using Oracle EPM Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FCCS and EPBCS/PBCS, along with hands-on experience in EPM Automate, Data Management, and Smart View.You will be responsible for end-to-end solution design, development, integration, and optimization of Oracle EPM applications. The role also includes working closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and IT to ensure smooth delivery, go-live readiness, and ongoing enhancements post-implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development :
- Lead the design, configuration, and customization of Oracle EPM Cloud solutions FCCS, EPBCS/PBCS.
- Build and maintain metadata, hierarchies, calculation scripts, business rules, forms, dashboards, and reporting templates.
- Develop and optimize EPM Automate scripts to support automation, scheduling, and batch processing.
Data Integration & Management
- Manage and configure Data Management workflows including data loads, mappings, and validations.
- Integrate EPM applications with ERP systems and external data sources for seamless reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across consolidation and planning modules.
Financial Consolidation & Planning
- Implement consolidation rules, intercompany eliminations, FX translations, and journal adjustments within FCCS.
- Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles in EPBCS/PBCS.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable EPM solutions.
Testing & Deployment
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Prepare documentation including functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
- Support go-live activities ensuring a smooth transition for end users.
Post-Implementation & Support
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for deployed applications.
- Collaborate with business teams to drive process improvements and optimizations.
- Participate in Hyperion on-premise to Oracle EPM Cloud migration initiatives where applicable.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Deep understanding of finance and accounting processes: consolidations, eliminations, multi-currency translation, and close cycles.
- 8 - 10 years of overall experience, with 8+ years of relevant Oracle EPM/Hyperion experience.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on expertise in:
- FCCS (Financial Consolidation & Close Cloud Service)
- EPBCS/PBCS (Enterprise/Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service)
- EPM Automate (scripting, automation, and batch jobs)
- Data Management (equivalent to FDMEE in on-premise)
- Smart View for Excel-based reporting and analysis
- Experience in designing and developing business rules, calculation scripts, and reporting frameworks.
- Proven expertise in data integration between EPM Cloud and ERP/other source systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to resolve application issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to additional Oracle EPM Cloud modules: ARCS (Account Reconciliation), PCMCS (Profitability and Cost Management), Narrative Reporting.
- Prior experience in Hyperion on-premise to EPM Cloud migrations.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for large datasets.
- Understanding of Oracle ERP integrations (GL, AP, AR).
