About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Testing Specialist with 5+ years of hands-on experience in functional, integration, and regression testing of Oracle EBS modules. This role ensures the quality, reliability, and compliance of Oracle EBS by executing comprehensive testing strategies and collaborating with functional, technical, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing for Oracle EBS modules such as Financials (GL, AP, AR), Procurement, Order Management, SCM, and HRMS.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automated/manual scripts for various system enhancements, upgrades, and patch releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in requirements analysis, defect tracking, and issue resolution throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Perform data validation, conversion, and reconciliation across EBS modules and integrated third-party systems.
- Ensure adherence to corporate quality assurance standards, industry regulations, and audit compliance requirements.
- Develop clear documentation including test plans, defect logs, traceability matrices, and end-to-end testing results.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), post-release testing, and production validation to ensure system stability and usability.
- Utilize test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA) for detailed reporting and progress tracking.
- Leverage automation frameworks (such as Selenium or LoadRunner) to drive efficiency for repeatable validation and regression scenarios.
- Collaborate with business users to confirm requirements alignment, improve usability, and enhance reporting accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle EBS core modules; experience with Financials, SCM, or Order Management is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, software quality assurance principles, and automation frameworks.
- Hands-on skills in developing test plans, executing test cases, and defect management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
