JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Assistant will play a versatile role in supporting the company’s day-to-day operations across farms, suppliers, logistics, production, and compliance. This position ensures smooth coordination between raw material sourcing, manufacturing, and documentation, enabling timely supply of high-quality ingredients for export. The role requires flexibility, frequent travel across India to identify and evaluate USDA-certified organic farms, coordinate raw material supply, manage vendor qualification, ensure compliance with export requirements for the US market and strong organizational skills to adapt to the dynamic needs of a growing startup.The coordinator will also handle sample collection, logistics, and supply chain activities to support smooth and timely ingredient flow to manufacturing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and coordinate with

  USDA-certified organic farms and suppliers

  across India.
• 
  
• Conduct

  farm visits

  to monitor compliance, quality standards, and supplier practices.
• 
  
• Arrange and dispatch

  ingredient samples

  for testing and verification.
• 
  
• Support

  vendor qualification

  by verifying organic practices and farm documentation.
• 
  
• Manage

  MOQ negotiations, logistics, and supplier deliveries

  to the manufacturing unit.
• 
  
• Maintain detailed

  records, logs, and compliance documentation

  for US buyers and audits.
• 
  
• Ensure timely availability of

  raw materials for manufacturing

  in India to meet export schedules.
• 
  
• Communicate regularly with

  US-based management and buyers

  , providing reports on farm status, sourcing progress, and risks.
• 
  
• Resolve issues in raw material

  quality, availability, or logistics

  to avoid production delays.
• Provide cross-functional support to production, and R&D teams as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Agriculture, Life Sciences, or Supply Chain

  (preferred).
• 
  
• 2 years’ experience in

  farm coordination, procurement, or supply chain management

  (preferred). Fresh graduates with relevant degrees may also apply
• 
  
• Understanding of

  USDA Organic/NOP certification standards

  is essential.
• 
  
• Strong communication skills in

  English

  ; fluency in

  Tamil and Hindi

  preferred for field coordination.
• 
  
• Willingness to

  travel extensively across India

  .
• 
  
• Knowledge of

  logistics and supply chain

  processes related to raw material movement and manufacturing supply.

• Strong organizational skills in
