Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage 24x7 global infrastructure operations, ensuring end-to-end service delivery.
Mentor and guide a team of SME engineers across IT domains (Windows, Linux, Cloud, Networking, etc.).
Act as process owner for Level 2 Support & Event Management; ensure ITIL process alignment (Incident, Problem, Change, Event).
Drive technical transitions and upskilling initiatives across infrastructure domains.
Provide technical and functional issue resolution; ensure minimal business disruption.
Identify gaps, propose corrective actions, and implement process improvements.
Maintain documentation of transitions and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
Prepare dashboards and reports to track KPIs and operational health.
Perform capacity planning, workload prioritization, and resource management.
Collaborate with Service Delivery, Engineering, and senior stakeholders to align IT services with business needs.
Support budgeting activities (OPEX & CAPEX) and contribute to IT strategy planning.

Technical Expertise:

Infrastructure:
Windows Server (2012–2019), Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Microsoft 365
Virtualization:
VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix VDI, Horizon
Cloud:
Azure & AWS administration, Cloud architecture and migration experience
Monitoring Tools:
SolarWinds, Nagios, Datadog
Security & Access:
SSO, Okta, Microsoft MFA
Patch Management:
SCCM, WSUS
Automation:
Working knowledge of Ansible, Chef, Puppet
ITSM Tools:
ServiceNow – strong understanding of ITIL practices
Networking:
Solid grasp of data center architecture, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and interfaces
Disaster Recovery:
Understanding of BCP and DR solutions
Reporting:
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, KPI dashboards
