Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage 24x7 global infrastructure operations, ensuring end-to-end service delivery.
  • Mentor and guide a team of SME engineers across IT domains (Windows, Linux, Cloud, Networking, etc.).
  • Act as process owner for Level 2 Support & Event Management; ensure ITIL process alignment (Incident, Problem, Change, Event).
  • Drive technical transitions and upskilling initiatives across infrastructure domains.
  • Provide technical and functional issue resolution; ensure minimal business disruption.
  • Identify gaps, propose corrective actions, and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain documentation of transitions and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports to track KPIs and operational health.
  • Perform capacity planning, workload prioritization, and resource management.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery, Engineering, and senior stakeholders to align IT services with business needs.
  • Support budgeting activities (OPEX & CAPEX) and contribute to IT strategy planning.


Technical Expertise:

  • Infrastructure:

    Windows Server (2012–2019), Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Microsoft 365
  • Virtualization:

    VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix VDI, Horizon
  • Cloud:

    Azure & AWS administration, Cloud architecture and migration experience
  • Monitoring Tools:

    SolarWinds, Nagios, Datadog
  • Security & Access:

    SSO, Okta, Microsoft MFA
  • Patch Management:

    SCCM, WSUS
  • Automation:

    Working knowledge of Ansible, Chef, Puppet
  • ITSM Tools:

    ServiceNow – strong understanding of ITIL practices
  • Networking:

    Solid grasp of data center architecture, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and interfaces
  • Disaster Recovery:

    Understanding of BCP and DR solutions
  • Reporting:

    Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, KPI dashboards
