Role - Senior Data Engineer Type - Permanent Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days Max Location : Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida Mode of work : Hybrid (2 Days work from office, 3 days WFH) Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute data migration projects to Databricks, ensuring minimal disruption and high data integrity. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks, SQL, Python, and PySpark. Implement and manage Unity Catalog for data governance and security within Databricks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Optimize data workflows and improve performance of existing data systems. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud services. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on data migration. Proven hands-on experience with Databricks, particularly in migrating data using a lift-and-shift strategy. High-level knowledge of SQL, Python, PySpark, and Unity Catalog. Strong understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS (S3 bucket), Azure, or GCP. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
