MOR Financial is a Los Angeles-based private lender and investment firm specializing in hard money real estate loans and passive real estate investment opportunities.


Role Description

MOR Financial is looking for a results-driven Marketing Manager to spearhead and execute our company’s marketing strategy. This high-impact role requires a strategic thinker with proven leadership abilities and a track record of driving measurable business results. The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in growing investor leads (active and passive), borrower opportunities, and strengthening brand awareness within the private lending and real estate investment space. This is a full-time, salaried role that reports directly to senior leadership.


Salary Range

USD 700 – USD 1200/month

Paid in Employee's Local Currency

Depending on experience and qualifications


Working Hours

48 Hours per Week

Monday–Saturday, 8 AM – 5 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST)


Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify high-value opportunities for brand growth and lead acquisition through new and existing channels.
  • Manage marketing budgets, performance KPIs, and lead strategic planning sessions.

Branding & Communications:

  • Oversee brand identity and ensure message consistency across platforms and campaigns.
  • Produce content for multi-channel campaigns including email, SMS, social media, digital ads, and website updates.
  • Coordinate case studies, testimonials, and industry thought leadership assets.

Lead Generation & Automation:

  • Develop and manage drip and nurture campaigns for segmented audiences (e.g., active investors, borrowers, brokers).
  • Integrate automation tools to optimize lead acquisition and conversion funnels.
  • Collaborate with business development to streamline lead flow, handoff, and follow-up.

Analytics & Optimization:

  • Track and report on campaign performance, including ROI, lead quality, and conversion metrics.
  • Leverage analytics platforms like Google Analytics and CRM dashboards for insight-driven improvements.

Team Collaboration:

  • Manage external agencies and creative vendors.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams including operations, investor relations, and sales.


Required Skills

  • Proven and demonstrable track record of leading successful teams and campaigns.
  • Strong proficiency in digital marketing strategies: SEO, SEM, social, email, video, and PPC.
  • Skilled in analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads Manager, etc.).
  • Advanced experience with CRM and marketing platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of lead funnels, campaign segmentation, and A/B testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; analytical mindset with ROI focus.
  • Ability to strategize, plan, and execute a marketing strategy.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively across departments.


Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work on Pacific Standard Time
  • Fluent in English
  • Access to a Windows or Mac computer and a webcam for video meetings
  • Installation of VPN software on the computer profile used for work
  • Signing a non-disclosure agreement
  • Employment verification with previous employers
  • Successful completion of role-related aptitude and/or skills assessments
  • Passing a comprehensive background check
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • 5–8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including proven leadership experience
  • Demonstrable portfolio and professional references required
  • Exclusive Employment: Candidates must formally resign from any previous or current roles prior to commencing employment with MOR Financial; dual employment is not permitted. Proof of resignation (such as a resignation letter) may be requested as part of the onboarding process.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in lending, finance, or real estate industries
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with design and collaboration tools like Canva or Figma
  • Experience working with remote teams across time zones
