Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to drive the marketing strategy for our fintech organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the fintech landscape, digital marketing trends and the ability to craft strategies that drive business growth, customer engagement and brand awareness. The role requires a leader who can drive marketing initiatives, develop campaigns and collaborate cross-functionally to align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Planning
:
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to drive growth, acquisition, and retention of customers in line with business objectives.
- Identify new growth opportunities in the fintech sector and align marketing efforts to capitalize on them.
- Lead the development of a strategic roadmap for brand positioning, product marketing and customer engagement across multiple channels.
- Align marketing strategies with sales and business development goals to ensure consistency and synergy.
2.Digital Marketing & Campaigns:
- Drive digital marketing initiatives across various platforms, including social media, email, SEO/SEM, and content marketing, to improve online visibility and customer acquisition.
- Lead and manage the team to create targeted marketing campaigns, focusing on customer-centric solutions and innovative approaches.
- Use analytics and customer insights to refine marketing tactics and improve the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Oversee the creation of content, including blogs, videos, whitepapers, and case studies, to engage and educate target audiences.
3.Brand Building & Public Relations:
- Build and enhance the company’s brand presence within the fintech industry, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
- Manage public relations efforts to maintain a positive image, enhance brand reputation, and handle crisis communication if needed.
- Foster relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry experts to position the company as a thought leader in the fintech space.
4.Product Marketing :
- Collaborate with the product and sales teams to develop product marketing strategies that clearly define value propositions for new and existing fintech solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to launch new products and features, ensuring they are aligned with market demands and communicated effectively to customers.
- Develop competitive positioning strategies by conducting market research and customer analysis
5.Customer Acquisition & Retention :
- Lead initiatives to acquire new customers while maintaining a strong focus on customer retention through loyalty programs, engagement campaigns, and personalized marketing.
- Develop and optimize customer journeys, ensuring touchpoints are consistent and personalized based on customer needs.
- Utilize customer data to segment audiences and develop targeted marketing strategies that address specific customer pain points.
6. Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyse and report on marketing performance metrics (ROI, customer acquisition cost, customer lifetime value) and use data to optimize campaigns
- Leverage customer insights and fintech market trends to continuously improve marketing strategies and drive decision-making
- Oversee market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
7.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Encourage a culture of innovation and excellence within the team, driving creative solutions to complex marketing challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as product, sales, technology, and customer support to ensure marketing activities are aligned with business goals.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure successful delivery of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Report regularly to the CEO and leadership team on the progress of marketing initiatives, campaign performance, and key strategic updates.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in marketing
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the fintech landscape, including digital payments, lending, blockchain, and other financial technologies
- Digital Expertise - Strong grasp of digital marketing strategies including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content marketing
- Analytical Skills: Ability to use data and metrics to measure performance, optimize campaigns, and report on marketing ROI.
- Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies clearly.
- Project Management - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skill :
- Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems and content marketing.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance marketing within the fintech space.
