## **1. Position Overview** The **Marketing & Operations Head** will lead the company’s end-to-end marketing, sales, and operational functions for CNC & VMC machine tools, automation systems, machining accessories, and industrial engineering solutions. The role is responsible for driving business growth, strengthening customer relationships, optimizing workflow, and ensuring seamless execution of sales and service operations. --- ## **2. Key Responsibilities** ### **A. Marketing & Business Development** * Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to increase brand visibility in CNC/VMC and industrial automation markets. * Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify new business opportunities in automotive, aerospace, die-mould, heavy engineering, and manufacturing sectors. * Establish and manage lead-generation campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, trade shows, and technical seminars. * Create and maintain product positioning, catalogues, presentations, and technical marketing content. * Build strong relationships with OEMs, machine tool manufacturers, tool suppliers, industrial clients, and channel partners. * Drive annual revenue targets through structured marketing and sales strategies. ### **B. Sales Management** * Oversee the sales team for CNC/VMC machines, automation products, spares, and tooling solutions. * Review inquiries, prepare quotations, technical proposals, and negotiate pricing and contracts. * Maintain strong after-sales support culture ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. * Track sales KPIs, forecasting, pipeline management, and monthly performance reviews. ### **C. Operations & Supply Chain** * Oversee daily operations including procurement, inventory management, logistics, vendor coordination, and dispatch planning. * Ensure timely availability of machines, spares, automation components, and service resources. * Optimize operational processes to reduce lead time, costs, and improve overall efficiency. * Implement ERP/CRM systems for better accuracy and visibility of operations. ### **D. Service & Technical Support Coordination** * Coordinate with service engineers for installation, commissioning, and breakdown support of CNC/VMC machinery. * Monitor service performance, assign tasks, and ensure resolution of technical issues within SLA timelines. * Support customers with technical guidance, training, and automation solutions. ### **E. Leadership & Strategy** * Lead cross-functional teams in marketing, sales, service, and operations. * Develop annual business plans, budget forecasting, and cost-control strategies. * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and organizational standards. * Mentor team members to improve technical and managerial capabilities. --- ## **3. Required Skills & Competencies** * Strong knowledge of CNC, VMC, automation products, and industrial engineering solutions. * Proven experience in B2B industrial marketing and operations management. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills. * Analytical thinking with data-driven decision making. * Leadership abilities with experience managing multifunctional teams. * Proficiency with CRM, ERP, MS Office, and digital marketing tools. --- ## **4. Qualifications & Experience** * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering (preferred). * MBA in Marketing/Operations is an added advantage. * 8–15+ years of experience in machine tools, industrial marketing, CNC/VMC sales, automation, or related engineering domain. * Experience dealing with OEMs, manufacturing industries, and automation integrators. --- ## **5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Sales growth and profitability * Customer acquisition and retention * Operational efficiency and reduced lead times * Inventory accuracy and supply chain performance * Successful marketing campaigns and lead conversions * Team productivity and service response performance --- ## **6.
