Job Description

As a Manager in the Procurement function, your role will be crucial in identifying, building, and managing effective relationships with key suppliers to enhance their performance and capabilities. You will be responsible for utilizing strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management processes to ensure the continuity of supply of goods and services, reduce total cost of ownership, improve supplier quality, establish external partnerships for innovation, and execute cost optimization initiatives to support organizational strategies and achieve corporate objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Negotiate and source services related to Marketing, Ecommerce, SEO, Customized Merchandise, Gifting, and Trainings. - Finalize Rate Cards with large chains of Hotels, Airlines, Travel Desks, and Mice Groups. - Evaluate, rate, and select vendors, handling an approximate total spend of 100 Cr per year. - Consolidate volume/vendors for category/sub-category, develop new vendors for savings, and manage a mix of tactical and strategic aspects across various categories. - Lead key initiatives, draft RFP, RFQ, RFI on Ariba, and conduct e-Auction and related sourcing events. - Prepare selection criteria for suppliers, negotiate rates, set up contracts, and manage supplier relationships to achieve business targets on SLAs, cost reduction, and key control indicators. - Maintain relationships with internal and external customers, focusing on meeting agreed SLAs and conducting regular meetings with critical business/suppliers. - Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements as per policy. **Qualifications Required:** - You should be an Engineering Graduate or MBA with a preferred professional qualification. - Possess 8-10 years of relevant experience in services procurement and a similar domain. - Have mandatory experience in supplier selection, negotiations, purchase order management, contract negotiation, and supplier management. - Experience in working with Ariba, mainly on RFP, RFQ, RFI, and Oracle. - Strong negotiation skills, cost analysis abilities, analytical and commercial acumen. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written), good presentation skills, proficiency in Excel and systems, and a strong understanding of processes. This role will involve interactions with external vendors and internal customers/business groups.
