Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Position Overview

Manager HR/ER

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Plant Operations and business heads to drive HR strategy and culture.
Maintain strong employee relations by engaging with employees, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
Ensure statutory and labor law compliance at the plant.
Oversee the complete employee life cycle hiring, onboarding, retention, and exit.
Drive welfare initiatives and regularly review employee facilities and benefits.
Plan and execute Learning & Development programs — skill matrix, training calendar, and competency mapping.
Implement and monitor HR KPIs and HR communication at the plant level.
Facilitate performance review systems, recognition programs, and employee engagement campaigns.
Ensure accurate HR data management and reporting.
Champion continuous improvement and people development initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience

Education:
MBA/PGDM / MSW / Master’s in HRM or equivalent legal qualification.
Experience:
11–18 years of proven experience in Employee Relations and HR, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
Skills:

Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in stakeholder and union management
Ability to lead HR initiatives independently
