Job Description

Tech Lead Backend (Golang)

Key Responsibilities

Develop clean, efficient Golang code and mentor the backend team.
Design and build scalable systems capable of handling millions of transactions.
Collaborate with product teams to translate features into robust backend solutions.
Work with Kafka, AWS services, and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Maintain technical documentation and support agile ceremonies (stand-ups, backlog).
Monitor system performance (Grafana, New Relic, Sentry) and handle incidents proactively.
Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation (Python/Shell scripting).

Must-Have Skills

8+ years of backend development experience, with 4+ years in Golang.
Strong expertise in system design and large-scale architecture.
Kafka proficiency.
Docker expertise; Kubernetes experience preferred.
Hands-on AWS knowledge (ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53).
Database expertise in MySQL and MongoDB.
Monitoring/observability tools: Grafana, New Relic, Sentry.
CI/CD pipeline knowledge and scripting (Python/Shell).

Good to Have

Experience in Python.
Familiarity with Feature Flags.
Exposure to Low-Code/No-Code platforms.
Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
Knowledge of Jira, Airflow, Temporal, n8n.
