About the role
We have an exciting role Manager- Financial Reporting that provides functional support for the Cognos Analytics
platform with respect to reporting and analytics. The candidate must be system savvy along with excellent
communication skills and finance knowledge. The candidate should maintain and improves the corporate reporting
platform, provides support for the global user base, and provides project management and governance for ongoing
operations
Leverage project management skills to prioritize report development activities
Collaborate with users to understand and document business needs and requirements
Troubleshoot report and data issues and propose solutions
Connect directly with the user community to deliver training and address questions/issues
Improve upon existing project/program management processes and governance
Perform data validation activities to ensure report integrity
Operate in global environments to maintain reporting standards
Maintain internal operations and change control documentation
Create and modify reports and analytics using tools like Cognos and Power BI
Collaborate with business partners in the development of reports, analytics, and dashboards

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:
This may be the right role for you if you have:
Overall experience of 10+ years in managing / leading financial systems projects
Strong understanding of Financial Systems
Strong understanding of Project Management principles and their application
Ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Understanding of financial principles and basic accounting
Comfort working with large data sets with advanced MS Excel experience
Experience with Cognos Analytics (BI), Power BI, or other reporting tools
Experience in using JIRA / Service Now or other workflow management tools
Exposure to financial systems and/or enterprise level technology platforms
Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and/or ERP platforms
