o Define and execute the sales and marketing strategy for the Automation & Control vertical aligned with corporate objectives.
o Formulate and implement robust sales strategies to expand market share and achieve aggressive sales goals for industrial automation products and services (e.g., Automated Assembly and Testing Lines, Weighing and Batching Projects, Robotics, Electro-Mechanical Special Purpose Machines, PLC controlled systems, Industry 4.0, Vision Systems, etc.).
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market segmentation, target account identification, and strategic partnerships.
o Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
o Establish clear performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to ensure individual and team success.
o Build and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with major industrial clients, understanding their operational challenges and positioning our automation solutions as value-added investments.
o Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and closing, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
o Demonstrate comprehensive technical knowledge of industrial automation systems and their applications across various industries (e.g., Automotive, Ceramics, Refractories, Pharma, Food & Beverage, Packaging, etc.).
o Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and value propositions to both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
o Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs within the industrial automation space.
o Leverage market insights to refine sales strategies and identify new product/solution opportunities.
o Develop accurate sales forecasts, manage sales pipelines using CRM tools, and provide detailed reports on sales activities, performance, and market insights to senior management.
o Collaborate effectively with engineering, product development, marketing, and service teams to ensure seamless solution delivery, customer satisfaction, and continuous product improvement.
o Lead and participate in the negotiation of sales contracts, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and align with company policies.
