Job Description

The Management Trainee (Marketing) is a dynamic role designed to groom future marketing leaders by providing hands-on experience in brand management, digital marketing, market research, and campaign execution. The trainee will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation while developing strategic marketing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Consumer Insights:

  • Conduct competitor analysis, trend research, and customer behavior studies.
  • Assist in developing customer personas and segmentation strategies.
  • Campaign Management & Execution:
  • Support the planning, execution, and optimization of digital & offline marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor KPIs (CTR, engagement, conversions) and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Digital & Social Media Marketing:
  • Assist in managing SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid social ads.
  • Help create engaging content for social media, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Brand Management & PR Support:
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
  • Assist in event coordination, PR activities, and influencer collaborations.
  • Sales Enablement & Lead Generation:
  • Work with sales teams to align marketing strategies with revenue goals.
  • Support lead nurturing through CRM tools and automation.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting:
  • Track campaign performance using Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Prepare reports on marketing ROI and suggest improvements.
  • Innovation & Process Improvement:
  • Identify new marketing trends (AI, automation, predictive analytics).
  • Recommend process optimizations for better efficiency.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Core Marketing Skills

· Digital Marketing Knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media ads (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads), and email marketing.

· Content Creation – Ability to craft engaging copy for social media, blogs, and campaigns.
Brand Management – Understanding of brand positioning, messaging, and consistency.

· Market Research – Competency in conducting competitor analysis, surveys, and consumer insights.

· Campaign Management – Experience in planning, executing, andoptimizing marketing campaigns.

2. Analytical & Data-Driven Skills

· Data Analysis – Proficiency in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho).

· ROI Measurement – Ability to track KPIs (CTR, conversion rates, CAC, engagement metrics).

· Excel/Google Sheets – Strong in data visualization, pivot tables, and performance reporting.

· A/B Testing – Familiarity with optimizing ads, landing pages, and email campaigns.

3. Technical & Digital Proficiency

· Marketing Automation Tools – Basic knowledge of Mailchimp, HubSpot, or ActiveCampaign.

· Social Media Management – Hands-on with LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X.

· SEO & SEM Tools – Understanding of Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush.

· Trends – Awareness of ChatGPT for content, predictive analytics, and chatbots.

4. Business & Strategic Thinking

· Customer-Centric Mindset – Ability to understand buyer personas and journey mapping.

· Sales & Marketing Alignment – Collaboration with sales teams for lead conversion.
Budget Management – Basic understanding of marketing spend allocation.

· Competitive Intelligence – Keeping up with industry trends and competitor strategies.

5. Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies

· Communication & Presentation – Clear articulation of ideas to teams and stakeholders.

· Creativity & Innovation – Bringing fresh ideas for campaigns and branding.Adaptability & Learning Agility – Willingness to learn new tools and trends quickly.

· Team Collaboration – Working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Design, PR).
Problem-Solving – Analytical thinking to optimize underperforming campaigns.

· Adaptability - Flexibility and adoptive to the task-based roles that are generic in nature during your training period as per your mentor’s assessment.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
