Senior Executive – Logistics

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end

  import and export operations

  , ensuring compliance with customs regulations, international trade laws, and timely delivery of goods.
• Supervise and mentor the EXIM/logistics team to ensure consistent operational excellence and adherence to organizational goals.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, CHA, transporters to manage

  transportation, customs clearance and smooth delivery of the material

  .
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation, review, and submission of all required EXIM documentation, including shipping instructions,

  bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and customs documents

  .
• Maintain updated knowledge of

  tariff structures, trade agreements, and global compliance standards

  , implementing best practices accordingly.
• Monitor and analyze

  logistics KPIs, freight costs, lead times, and inventory levels

  , and propose strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and finance teams to align

  logistics operations with the complete business cycle

  , from sourcing to delivery.
• Identify opportunities for

  process improvement

  and cost optimization through market research, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure seamless communication with internal departments and external stakeholders to

  foster smooth supply chain workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree

  in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years

  of hands-on experience in EXIM logistics, international trade compliance, and supply chain operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of

  customs clearance procedures

  , DGFT documentation, INCOTERMS, and shipping coordination.

Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a strong ability to

  interpret logistics data

  and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in

  MS Office

  , EXIM software, and ERP logistics modules.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially in dealing with vendors, customs officials, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a strong attention to detail.
