Job Title: Logistics Executive
Reports To: Logistics Manager / Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary:
The Logistics Executive is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of logistics activities within a manufacturing environment. This includes overseeing the movement of raw materials to the production facility, managing the distribution of finished goods to customers, and ensuring efficient operations of transportation and warehouse functions. The role involves liaising with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to ensure smooth and timely deliveries while optimizing cost and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience (1 years) in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP and logistics management software ( SAP, )

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Coordination:
• Assist in the planning and coordination of transportation activities for the delivery of raw materials to the manufacturing facility and finished goods to customers.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, and resolve any transportation or delivery issues promptly.
• Maintain communication with vendors, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure the availability and delivery of materials as per production schedules.
• Inventory and Stock Management:
• Support inventory management by assisting in the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in the warehouse.
• Ensure proper documentation of stock levels, inbound/outbound shipments, and inventory records.
• Assist in regular stock audits and maintain accurate records for inventory control purposes.
• Warehouse Operations Support:
• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure the proper organization of materials and products within the warehouse.
• Monitor the loading and unloading of goods and ensure proper handling and storage practices.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards of the warehouse.
• Transportation Management Support:
• Help coordinate with transportation companies and internal teams to ensure the timely movement of goods.
• Support the management of transportation costs by analyzing shipment routes, packaging needs, and delivery schedules.
• Assist with the preparation of transportation-related documentation, including delivery notes, bills of lading, and customs clearance documents (if applicable).
• Customer Support & Order Tracking:
• Coordinate with customer service and sales teams to address any customer-related logistics concerns or delays.
• Help monitor delivery statuses and resolve issues such as delayed shipments or damaged goods.
• Provide regular updates to internal teams and customers regarding shipment progress.
• Data Entry and Reporting:
• Input logistics data into the company’s ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
• Assist with generating reports on transportation costs, inventory turnover, and logistics performance metrics.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery times, cost efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure that all logistics operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations.
• Assist in maintaining the necessary records for shipping, receiving, and inventory management for audit purposes.
• Help ensure that goods are shipped with the correct documentation, including certificates, permits, and customs declarations (if necessary).
• Continuous Improvement:
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for process improvement in logistics, including transportation, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
• Assist in implementing cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high levels of service and product availability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
