Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and organized Logistics Executive to oversee end-to-end coordination of vehicles and drivers, including the hiring of market vehicles when required. The role involves managing daily fleet operations, coordinating with partnered brands for transport requirements, handling third-party transport vendors, and ensuring proper documentation of PODs (Proof of Deliveries) and billing.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet & Vehicle Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day scheduling and dispatch of both in-house and hired vehicles.
  • Ensure vehicle availability as per delivery timelines across all brand collaborations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to optimize vehicle utilization.

Driver Coordination:

  • Oversee and assign duties to all company or contracted drivers.
  • Maintain an updated driver roster with shift schedules, contact details, and route plans.
  • Ensure driver compliance with safety standards, delivery protocols, and company policies.
  • Monitor driver performance and provide feedback or support as needed.

Market Vehicle Hiring:

  • Identify and onboard reliable third-party transport vendors.
  • Hire market vehicles on-demand based on delivery volume and client requirements.
  • Negotiate rates and service terms with vendors in line with operational budgets.

POD Management:

  • Collect, verify, and maintain Proof of Deliveries from both in-house and market vehicles.
  • Ensure timely submission of PODs to relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow up on missing or incorrect documentation and resolve issues promptly.

Billing & Documentation:

  • Cross-verify transport vendor bills with trip logs and PODs.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Maintain organized and auditable records of all transport and billing activities using Zoho Books.
  • Timely invoice creation to be sent to all the respective brands post approval.

Vendor & Client Coordination:

  • Liaise with transport vendors, internal teams, and brand partners to ensure smooth logistics execution.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for transport-related queries and escalations.
  • Resolve delays, vehicle issues, or documentation discrepancies in a timely manner.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure all vehicle and driver operations are compliant with transport regulations and internal SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, vendor performance, POD status, and billing.
  • Generate periodic reports for management review.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
