Job Description

A highly skilled Lead Technical Recruiter with over 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience specializing in hiring for Software Product companiesStrong background in scaling engineering teams and building efficient hiring pipelines for fast-growing product startups and mid-size technology organizations.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end technical hiring for Product Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Data Engineering, QA Automation, SRE, Security, and AI/ML roles.
  • Successfully handled mid-level to senior and leadership hiring, including SDE I-III, Tech Leads, Architects, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers.
  • Expertise in recruiting for high-performance product environments, focusing on problem-solving skills, system design fundamentals, and culture fit.
  • Strong exposure to SaaS, FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, and B2B product domains.
  • Worked with founders, CTOs, and Engineering Heads to plan hiring needs aligned with product roadmaps.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: JD creation, sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Build talent pipelines using multiple channels: LinkedIn, GitHub, Naukri, AngelList, StackOverflow, internal referrals, and passive sourcing.
  • Conduct deep technical screening for skills like DSA, LLD, HLD, Java, Node.js, React, Python, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Drive Interview Panel Training, structured interview processes, and competency frameworks.
  • Own recruitment analytics time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer-to-join ratio, and pipeline health.
  • Manage stakeholder communication with hiring managers, engineering leaders, and founders.
  • Implement ATS, recruitment automation tools, and talent mapping strategies.
  • Successfully hire high-velocity and quality talent for fast-scaling engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Sourcing: LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, GitHub search, Boolean search, AngelList.
  • ATS/HRMS: Lever, Greenhouse, Keka, HireEZ, HDIPlatform ATS (your product), Zoho Recruit, etc.
  • Technical Screening: DSA basics, LLD/HLD understanding, Cloud fundamentals, API concepts.
  • Analytics: Excel, Google Sheets, hiring dashboards.
  • Soft Skills: Negotiation, stakeholder management, decision-making, and team leadership.

Achievements

  • Closed 30-40 technical roles annually with strong quality metrics.
  • Reduced time-to-fill by 25-40% by setting up faster sourcing funnels.
  • Built interview frameworks that improved interviewer effectiveness by 30%.
