Role Overview

Lead Technical Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute full-cycle technical recruitment across roles such as Software Engineers, DevOps, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and more.
  • Partner with client stakeholders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop strategic recruitment plans.
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates using various platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.).
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior recruiters, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain and grow a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience through transparent and timely communication.
  • Stay updated on tech trends and talent market dynamics to advise clients strategically.
  • Use ATS/CRM tools effectively to track recruitment metrics and improve hiring performance.
  • Represent Hellowork Consultants at networking events, job fairs, and tech meetups when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Proven success in recruiting for a wide range of technical roles.
  • Deep understanding of technical skills, frameworks, and languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, AWS, DevOps, etc.).
  • Strong sourcing skills using Boolean search, social media, and other creative methods.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and clients simultaneously.
  • Experience with ATS platforms like Greenhouse, Lever, or similar.
  • Tech-savvy and data-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a recruitment agency or consultancy environment.
  • Technical background (e.g., prior IT/Software development experience or education).
  • Familiarity with employer branding and recruitment marketing techniques.
