Roles & Responsibility


Researching Potential Leads

  • Identify target markets, industries, and companies.
  • Find decision-makers and influencers within organizations (e.g., marketing managers, procurement heads).
  • Use platforms like LinkedIn, business directories, and CRM data.

Outbound Communication

  • Cold calling:

    Reach out to potential customers over the phone.
  • Email marketing:

    Write personalized and strategic outreach emails.
  • Social media outreach:

    Especially through LinkedIn, to connect and engage with prospects.

Data Management & CRM

  • Record all interactions and leads in a CRM system like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
  • Maintain up-to-date and clean databases.
  • Track the lead's journey and status in the pipeline.

Qualifying Leads

  • Use frameworks like

    BANT

    (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to determine if a lead is worth pursuing.
  • Ask smart questions to assess interest and readiness.

Nurturing Leads

  • Follow up with warm leads regularly through calls or emails.
  • Share relevant content or information to keep the prospect engaged.

Setting Appointments

  • Schedule meetings, demos, or discovery calls for the sales or business development team.

Reporting & Feedback

  • Report weekly/monthly on lead numbers, quality, and conversion rates.
  • Provide feedback to marketing teams on what’s working

Key Skills and Qualities Needed:

  • Strong communication skills

    – especially persuasive speaking and clear writing.
  • Persistence and resilience

    – dealing with rejection is part of the role.
  • Tech-savvy

    – comfortable with tools like CRMs, LinkedIn, Excel, email platforms.
  • Research abilities

    – able to find and interpret company and contact info.
  • Organizational skills

    – keeping track of many leads and follow-ups.
  • Goal-oriented mindset

    – motivated by targets and incentives.
