Job Description

Role Overview:


The executive will drive the strategic design and execution of insurance and investment business campaigns, strengthen MIS governance across channels, oversee IRDAI & AMFI mandated employee certification programs, and lead budgeting and financial planning for Third Party Product vertical. The role requires deep understanding of the insurance and investment ecosystem, regulatory framework, bancassurance dynamics, and data-driven business management.


Responsibilities:


  • Campaign Management

  • Design and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive insurance penetration, renewal ratios, cross-sell, and upsell across bancassurance, agency, digital, and partner channels.
  • Build targeted segmentation strategies based on customer lifecycle, risk profile, and product suitability.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Compliance, and Distribution teams to align campaigns with business goals and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor campaign efficacy using conversion KPIs, persistency metrics, channel productivity, and portfolio quality.
  • Ensure all campaigns follow fair market conduct, customer suitability norms, and regulatory compliance.


  • MIS, Analytics & Business Performance Reporting

  • Lead development and governance of MIS frameworks for sales performance, channel productivity, persistency, underwriting, and claims-related insights.
  • Partner with technology and data teams to automate dashboards and ensure data accuracy across all reporting layers.
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly business intelligence to senior leadership, highlighting growth opportunities, risks, and forward-looking trends.
  • Drive analytical models to improve lead scoring, customer targeting, renewal interventions, and risk segmentation.


  • Employee Certification, Licensing & Compliance

  • Oversee IRDAI & AMFI mandated employee certification programs and ensure 100% regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate training content, assessments, licensing workflows, and audit readiness in collaboration with L&D, HR, and Compliance.
  • Implement digital tools to track certification status, renewal timelines, and audit trails across channels.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory updates and maintain strong governance for internal and partner certifications.


  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Governance

  • Lead the Third-Party Product business budgeting cycle, including premium targets, channel-wise allocations, and cost-to-acquire metrics.
  • Track spending, campaign ROI, operational costs, and ensure financial discipline across functions.
  • Conduct variance analysis, risk assessment, and scenario planning for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Partner with Finance and Business Heads to build long-term financial models for new initiatives, digital investments, and channel scaling.


  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage and mentor teams across Campaigns, MIS, Certification, and Planning.
  • Work closely with CXOs, distribution heads, compliance teams, and insurer partners to drive business outcomes.
  • Strengthen governance frameworks for risk management, audit, and regulatory adherence.
  • Champion digital transformation, automation, and process efficiency across distribution support functions.

Qualifications

  • Post Graduate/Graduate with 12–18+ years of experience in insurance, bancassurance, or BFSI distribution.
  • Strong understanding of insurance business levers: premium growth, persistency, claims ratios, customer segmentation, and channel economics.
  • Proven experience managing multi-functional teams and high-scale operations.
  • Proficiency in analytics, MIS tools, campaign platforms, and financial planning methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
