Role Overview

Worldwide BMO is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead IT operations, manage servers and databases, support business teams, and drive automation across multiple processes.
The ideal candidate must be able to collaborate with department leaders, understand their workflow challenges, and design automated solutions to reduce manual work.Preferable candidates will have experience in logistics, BPO operations, or similar fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & Server Management

• Monitor and manage server performance, uptime, and upgrades.
• Handle backup, restoration, and disaster recovery processes.
• Maintain security, patch updates, and system health checks.

2. SQL Database Management

• Manage SQL databases (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports.
• Handle database performance tuning, backup schedules, replication, and access security.

3. Automation & Process Improvement

• Work closely with team leads and managers to understand manual tasks and identify automation opportunities.
• Build automations using scripting tools (Python/PowerShell/Bash) or low-code/no-code tools.
• Create services, scheduled jobs, and triggers to automate repetitive workflows.
• Support automation of reporting, monitoring, and data processing tasks.
• Basic understanding of AI tools and ability to integrate AI for process enhancement (optional but preferred).

4. IT Operations & Support

• Provide day-to-day IT support for employees and internal teams.
• Manage ticketing systems, handle escalations, and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage hardware, software, equipment lifecycle, and maintain an updated IT inventory.
• Ensure network reliability, system security, and compliance with company policies.

5. Reporting, Documentation & Coordination

• Work with department leaders to support their IT needs and implement technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, instruction sheets, process documents, and automation guides.
• Manage crystal reports and collaborate on reporting requirements.
• Keep all systems and equipment updated as per company standards.
• Evaluate new technologies and suggest improvements to enhance overall efficiency.

6. Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise and mentor the IT support team.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure smooth IT operations.
• Maintain clear communication with management and provide regular IT updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience as an IT Manager or Senior IT Engineer.
• Strong SQL knowledge (administration, optimization, reporting).
• Experience with server OS (Windows & Linux), virtualization, and networking.
• Good understanding of automation tools and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Knowledge of crystal reports and database-driven report generation.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team leads and leadership.
• Ability to create structured documentation, SOPs, and process guides.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.

Shift Timings & Location

• Comfortable working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM Indian time IST (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST), Monday to Friday, from the Gurgaon office.
• Flexible shift timing, shift timing may change to meet the deadlines or to resolve the urgencies (may need to come in over the weekend if needed).
• Relocation within 10 km radius.

• Microsoft SQL Certification
• AWS Solutions Architect / Azure Administrator
• ITIL v4
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
