Job Title: IT Head / Head of Information TechnologyJob Summary:

The IT Head will lead and manage the IT department, develop IT policies and systems, and ensure technology solutions are scalable and aligned with the organization’s business goals. This role requires a strategic and hands-on approach to drive innovation, secure infrastructure, improve system reliability, and optimize processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Strategy and Planning
• Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
• Plan the IT budget and manage financial aspects of IT projects.
• Identify opportunities for technological improvement and innovation.
• Ensure long-term scalability and stability of IT systems.
• Technology Infrastructure and Operations
• Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud solutions.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of all critical IT services.
• Lead system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Cybersecurity and Compliance
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing to maintain a secure IT environment.
• Stay informed about cybersecurity trends and implement relevant updates.
• Team Leadership and Management
• Lead and mentor the IT team, providing guidance, training, and development.
• Oversee IT staff recruitment, performance evaluations, and development plans.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Vendor Management and Collaboration
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and evaluate technology solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet technology needs.
• Data Management and Analytics
• Develop and enforce policies for data management, storage, and retrieval.
• Oversee data governance, ensuring data security, privacy, and integrity.
• Support business intelligence and analytics to improve data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in an IT management or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise software solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX, is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Project management experience, with a track record of leading successful IT projects.
• Strategic planning and budget management.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data management tools.

This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and strong leadership capabilities. An effective IT Head will ensure technology supports current operations while preparing the organization for future growth and challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹55,000.00 per month
