Job Description

To oversee and manage the IT strategy and operations across all properties within the Pride Hotels Group, ensuring that technology resources are aligned with the business goals and objectives, while enhancing operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic IT Planning

    :
    • Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy of Pride Hotels.
    • Participate in the formulation of the annual IT budget, ensuring alignment with the organizations financial goals.
  2. Technology Management

    :
    • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of IT systems and infrastructure across all hotel properties.
    • Ensure that all IT systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  3. Team Leadership

    :
    • Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and professional development.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department.
  4. Vendor Management

    :
    • Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure the best quality of service and cost-effectiveness.
    • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  5. Operational Support

    :
    • Provide technical support and guidance to all hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
    • Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Project Management

    :
    • Oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  7. Cybersecurity

    :
    • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and IT infrastructure.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies.
  8. Innovation and Development

    :
    • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and innovations in the hospitality industry.
    • Recommend and implement new technologies that can enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education

    : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience

    : 8-15 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and software applications relevant to the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and vendor management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
