Job Description

About the Role:

IT Head

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement the company’s overall IT strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Identify opportunities for technological innovation and digital transformation.

  • Plan and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and investments.

IT Infrastructure & Operations

  • Oversee daily IT operations, including networks, servers, systems, and software.

  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems.

  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and service-level agreements.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity policies, protocols, and controls.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, data protection regulations, and internal policies.

  • Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff to ensure optimal performance.

  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage cross-functional collaboration.

  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Project Management

  • Oversee IT-related projects from conception to completion.

  • Coordinate with multiple departments to deliver timely and efficient solutions.

  • Ensure quality execution within timelines and budgets.

Technical Support & Solutions

  • Provide guidance and troubleshoot complex IT issues.

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency.

  • Enhance business processes through automation and system optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering,B.Tech or a related field.

Experience

  • 6-10 years of progressive experience in IT roles, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership position.

  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and ERP systems.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity frameworks.

  • Experience in ERP, CRM, database management, and enterprise applications.

  • Familiarity with ITIL, ISO standards, and project management methodologies.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
