Job Description

Job Title: HR Manager Location: Navi Mumbai, Experience: 5 Years ++ 6 days working in a week Type: Full-Time Salary: 45,000 to 55,000 / Month Job Summary: The HR Manager – Operations will be responsible for managing all HR functions at the operational/plant level, ensuring alignment with business goals. The role focuses on workforce management, employee relations, compliance, and implementation of HR strategies to support a high-performance culture in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. HR Operations & Compliance: Manage end-to-end HR operations at the plant/operations level. Ensure statutory and labor law compliance (PF, ESIC, Factory Act, etc.). Handle audits and inspections by government authorities. Maintain accurate HR records and reports. 2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Manage recruitment for blue-collar and support staff. Partner with temp agencies and contractors to ensure adequate staffing. Drive onboarding, induction, and orientation programs. 3. Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster positive employee relations and manage grievance redressal. Conduct regular employee engagement and welfare activities. Liaise with union representatives where applicable. 4. Performance Management: Assist in the execution of performance appraisal cycles. Support capability-building initiatives and training programs. 5. HR Strategy & Policy Implementation: Implement corporate HR policies at the local level. Contribute to the development of HR initiatives in line with business requirements. Partner with operations leadership to address workforce issues proactively. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of labor laws and factory compliance Experience in managing HR in a plant/factory setting Proactive problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Ability to engage with diverse employee groups Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Fluency in local language(s) and English Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 5–6 years of experience in HR, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG sectors Experience in unionized environments is an advantage Show more Show less
