About the Role

Junior HR Assistant

In this role, you will assist with day-to-day HR operations including recruitment coordination, on-boarding formalities, maintaining employee records, scheduling interviews, supporting performance review processes, data entry and helping with employee engagement activities.


Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle — from job posting to onboarding.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower needs.
  • Conduct interviews and manage final selection processes.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction for new hires.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Maintain healthy employee relations and resolve grievances effectively.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, events, and celebrations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.

3. Performance Management

  • Monitor the appraisal process and ensure timely reviews.
  • Support managers in setting KRAs/KPIs and evaluating employee performance.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs.

4. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, review, and update HR policies in line with labor laws.
  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation accurately.

5. Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Supervise attendance, leave management, and payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement and statutory deductions.

6. Strategic HR Initiatives

  • Support organizational growth through workforce planning and retention strategies.
  • Assist in culture building and implementing HR best practices.
  • Analyze HR metrics and prepare management reports.

7. Leadership & Team Support

  • Mentor and guide junior HR team members.
  • Collaborate with management for policy-level HR decisions.
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent.


    Required Skills

    • Good typing speed and computer proficiency, including MS Office and basic Excel skills
    • Familiarity with attendance management software or willingness to learn
    • Ability to analyze data for informed decision-making
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization


    • Experience

      : 3-4yrs experience in HR or related fields is acceptable
    • Salary:

      Upto ₹6 LPA
