Role Overview The Finance / Accounts Manager will play a key leadership role in managing the financial health of Swastik Synergy, ensuring accurate accounting, statutory compliance, and effective financial planning. The role involves overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, managing cash flow for project-based work, handling domestic and export compliance, and supporting management with strategic financial insights. Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Financial Reporting Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations including bank reconciliations, journal entries, project billing, and ledger maintenance. Ensure timely preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) as per applicable standards. Manage and support statutory and tax audits, coordinating with external auditors. 2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST (including LUT & refund claims for exports), TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory obligations. Handle departmental assessments, replies to notices, and coordinate with consultants for legal and tax matters. Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and government incentives relevant to the manufacturing/export sector. 3. Budgeting, MIS & Financial Planning Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and MIS reports for management review. Analyze variances between budgeted and actual performance and provide actionable insights. Support project cost estimation, profitability analysis, and strategic decision-making with data-driven inputs. 4. Cash Flow, Banking & Project Finance Manage working capital efficiently, ensuring timely payment collections, vendor payments, and project cash flow planning. Handle banking activities, including LC/BG management, credit facilities, foreign remittances, and fund flow tracking. Liaise with banks and financial institutions for credit lines, export benefits, and funding requirements. 5. Process, Controls & Systems Implement robust internal controls for inventory, billing, and financial transactions to safeguard company assets. Standardize and automate accounting processes using Tally / ERP to improve accuracy and efficiency. Drive compliance for project documentation, DGFT procedures, and export incentives (e.g., LUT, Advance Authorization, Duty Drawback). 6. Team Management & Development Supervise, train, and guide the finance/accounts team to ensure timely and accurate work. Build a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting. CA / MBA Finance preferred (or equivalent experience in manufacturing/engineering). 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts in a manufacturing / EPC / project-based company. Proficient in Tally, Excel, and ERP systems. Strong knowledge of GST (including export procedures), TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other compliance frameworks. Familiarity with project billing, BOQ-based invoicing, and export documentation is essential. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
