Job Description

The Human Resource Manager will lead and manage the overall HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training & development, statutory compliance, and organizational culture building. The role is both strategic and operational — ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations while contributing to the company’s long-term people strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Plan and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for all departments.
  • Coordinate end-to-end hiring process: job posting, shortlisting, interviewing, offer letters, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Design and conduct orientation programs for new employees.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Organize employee welfare activities, events, and feedback mechanisms.

3. Performance Management

  • Implement and manage appraisal systems and Key Result Areas.
  • Support department heads in setting performance goals and conducting reviews.
  • Identify training and development needs based on performance data.

4. Training & Development

  • Design and implement training calendars aligned with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs.
  • Track effectiveness of learning interventions.

5. Compliance & HR Administration

  • Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws, PF/ESI, professional tax, and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRMIS systems.
  • Draft and update HR policies, employment contracts, and company handbooks.

6. Strategic HR Initiatives

  • Support leadership in manpower planning and organizational structuring.
  • Develop and execute retention strategies and succession planning.
  • Contribute to change management and digital transformation in HR processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and statutory compliances.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRMS / HR software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
