Job Title: Human Resources Manager 


Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India

We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a passionate and strategic HR lead to build and nurture our most valuable asset: our people. 


The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Human Resources Lead to establish and lead our HR function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader to shape our company culture, build scalable HR processes, and support our aggressive growth targets. You will play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent in a fast-paced and creative environment. 


Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic HR Leadership:

o Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's overall business objectives and growth plans.

o Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team on all HR-related matters, including organisational design, workforce planning, and talent management.

o Forecast HR needs and develop plans to address them, ensuring the company has the right talent in place to achieve its goals.


• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

o Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all functions (marketing, product development, operations, sales, etc.).

o Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job description development to offer negotiation.

o Develop and implement engaging onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company culture and become productive quickly. 


• Culture & Employee Engagement:

o Champion and cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performance company culture that reflects our values.

o Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

o Organize and oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, ensuring fairness and compliance.


• Performance Management & Development:

o Establish and manage performance management systems (goal setting, appraisals, feedback mechanisms) to drive individual and team performance.

o Identify training and development needs and implement programs that foster continuous learning and career growth for employees.

o Develop succession planning strategies for key roles. 


• Compensation & Benefits:

o Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.

o Conduct market research and participate in salary surveys to ensure compensation structures are aligned with industry standards. 


• HR Operations & Compliance:

o Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.

o Manage HR administrative tasks, including HRIS management, record-keeping, and payroll coordination. o Oversee employee data management and ensure data privacy and security.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, And a related field. Master's degree or relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.

• 4-6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Prior experience in a startup environment, particularly within the beauty, personal care, FMCG, or consumer goods industry, is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated success in building and scaling HR functions from scratch.

• Strong understanding of all HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance.

• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and diverse teams.

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
