Job Summary

The Business Partner – HR will act as a key liaison between business units and the HR function, ensuring seamless alignment of people practices with organizational objectives. This role involves supporting employee engagement, performance management, talent development, and employee relations within assigned IT business groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for designated business units, providing proactive support to leaders and employees.
  • Drive core HR processes such as performance management, talent review, goal setting, and compensation planning.
  • Partner with business leaders to address workforce planning, skill development, and employee retention strategies.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, culture-building programs, and internal communication efforts.
  • Manage employee relations cases with objectivity and confidentiality, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and C&B to deliver holistic HR solutions.
  • Analyze HR metrics such as attrition, engagement, and performance trends to provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Conduct onboarding and exit formalities, ensuring a consistent employee experience.
  • Facilitate learning sessions, skip-level interactions, and pulse connect programs to strengthen employee connect.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and counsel business leaders on people matters.
  • Sound understanding of HR operations, policies, and Indian labor laws.
  • Hands-on experience in HRMS tools (Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, or equivalent).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to data-driven insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Education and Experience

  • MBA or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist within IT/Technology organizations.
  • Exposure to working with engineering, product, or digital technology teams preferred.
